According to the Binance Scholar Program Over 82,000 applications have been submitted since they launched the program. According to a blog post published by Binance Charity on the cryptocurrency exchange website.
The Binance Scholar Program acts as a platform for interested people to freely access the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to pursue a career in the web3 space.
The Binance Scholar Program proposes a possibility for those interested to voluntarily lean toward the proficiency, abilities, and experience crucial to seek a career in the web3 enterprise.
The BSP aims to support its members at every stage of their Web3 career, covering expenses like tuition and books at prestigious universities as well as offering services like job placement.
In 2022, Binance Charity distributed more than $2.2 million (in BUSD) to prestigious educational institutions and organizations from several nations, including Nigeria, Ukraine, Germany, Senegal, South Africa, Australia, France, Cyprus, and Brazil.
One of the Nigerian tech institutions that Binance Charity has partnered with is Utiva to pay for Web3 education for 50,000 students and offer 1,000 scholarships to a particular one-year intensive blockchain training program that will prepare its participants for employment.
Binance Charity has teamed up with the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Lviv IT Cluster to assist impacted Eastern Ukrainians. The scholarships will provide these individuals with the skills and information they need to reenter the workforce.
